New Blog Aims to be Charlotte’s Source for Everything TEEN
Charlotte TEEN Blog: Making Charlotte a more “Teen Friendly” City
September 15, 2016—(Charlotte, NC) - The American Teenager has always been the mirror of American culture. Today's teenager are innovative, trainable and the one of the largest spender in the US economy. Through technology, teens have the world at their hands and yet in 2015, teenagers in Charlotte accounted for over 4,000 arrested citizens and in 2016 teen crimes are continuing to. (CMPD, 2016)
Charlotte TEEN Blog is budding platform which aims to be a proactive approach in mobilizing Charlotte’s youth and youth engagement in a positive way. We truly believe that this initiative has never been more important than it is right now. Especially, as concerns for equality and the demand for our services continue to rise.
The team at Charlotte TEEN's goal is to engage businesses, community organizations and local government to create opportunities and partnerships that work together for teens!
We also aim to provide assistance and consultation to High School age Youth Programs. As well as serve as an outlet for Teens, Teen Programs and business looking to love on TEENS!
Beginning on Thursday September 15, 2016, Charlotte TEEN will launch its website which will feature a blog, Teen Resource Directory, Teen Event Calendar and Teen Highlights. The release will take place on Charlotte TEEN’s website as well as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
