PSAT are among us and your help is needed in our Title 1 Schools!

"It Take a Village to Raise a Child" is an old African Proverbs that still holds true, today! Over the past few years, we have seen a shift in American Culture. From social media to reality TV shows, teens are influenced by an ever changing culture.

As adults it is our jobs to positively influence and guide our TEENS to a brighter tomorrow. One way that we can accomplish this is by volunteering as mentors, lunch buddies, tutors, test proctor etc. at local schools, specifically Title 1 Schools.

Title 1 Schools are defined as schools who receive financial assistance from local educational agencies (U.S. Department of Education). Recently, Title 1 Schools in CMS have been negatively featured in various media outlets as for negative issues that do not promote strong community, unity, civility or citizenship. While this is NOT the fault of CMS...Our schools need your help, more importantly our TEENS need you!
